What if something gets damaged during the move, what are my options?
You can purchase additional valuation or insurance. Please let us know before moving day so the proper paperwork can be filed. For more information about relevant regulations, you can reach out to our office.

When should I call to book the job?
We typically ask for one to two weeks’ notice to schedule a move. During peak summer months, this may extend to three to four weeks. Scheduling is on a “first come, first serve” basis.

How will you move me out of state?
For long-distance moves, a dedicated team of our local movers will come to your home, load your belongings, and drive directly to your destination. Your goods will not share the truck with anyone else’s items. This approach provides a faster, safer, and more client-focused experience.

The weather looks like it’ll be rainy or sleety, will you still move me?
Provided conditions are workable, we will complete your move. Torrential downpours, hurricane winds, and other extreme weather may require postponement to protect your belongings. Light rain or cold weather is not an issue.

How will you move my piano?
We bring all necessary materials such as moving blankets and a piano board. We cannot move pianos up or down full flights of stairs. Two or three steps at an entryway are fine.

Can you move my gun safe? It’s pretty heavy.
Most gun safes do not require an additional bulk item fee. However, safes over 500 lbs exceed what we can safely handle and will be referred to safe-moving specialists.

What are bulk items?
Bulk items vary case by case. A table made entirely of marble is an example, as it is above average in size and weight and requires specialized equipment and crew.

Can you disassemble my pool table?
We cannot disassemble or move pool tables with a one-piece slate top. Three-piece slate tables can be moved if they are disassembled and crated ahead of time.

Will you move me into a different storage facility?
Yes, we can move you to any storage facility you choose. Storage in our warehouse is also available, and we can explain the benefits of storing your belongings with us.

I don’t think I can give an accurate inventory. Can you come out to my house?
In-home estimates are available Monday through Friday, 10 am to 4 pm. Complimentary on-site estimates are recommended for homes larger than 1,600 square feet.

Do I have a specific salesperson I have to talk to each time I call?
No. Any member of our sales team can answer questions, make adjustments, or schedule your move.

Should I tip? How much is standard?
Tipping is not required but is appreciated. A general guideline is about 5% of the total move. For example, for a $500–$750 move, a tip of $25–$40 total (or $10–$20 per mover) is typical. Ultimately, tipping is a gift based on the quality of service you received.
